Available where a valid religious marriage has already taken place and the couple needs to register a pre-existing marriage. Faster than SMA but requires proof of the prior ceremony — photographs, invitation, priest declaration.

We collect and verify all documents — Aadhaar, marriage photographs, ceremony proof, and age documents. We draft the required joint affidavit and individual affidavits on appropriate stamp paper. We confirm Aadhaar mobile linkage for both partners to ensure OTP-based e-District authentication works without delays.
We submit the Tatkal marriage registration application on Delhi's e-District portal using Aadhaar-authenticated OTP verification for both partners. The application includes all affidavits, photographs, ceremony proof, and fee payment. A properly submitted application receives SDM appointment confirmation within 24–48 hours.
Both partners and three witnesses attend the Sub-Divisional Magistrate's office on the appointed date. We accompany you to the appointment, handle all clerk interactions, and present documents in the correct sequence. The SDM verifies documents, records the registration, and issues a certificate acknowledgement on the same day.
The government-issued marriage certificate under the Hindu Marriage Act is typically issued on the same day as the SDM appointment or within one working day. This is the primary document for all subsequent uses — visa applications, name change, joint accounts, and MEA apostille for foreign use.
Any Indian citizen above 21 years of age with valid government-issued photo ID. Does not need to be a family member or personally known to the couple.
Aadhaar Card (preferred) or Passport. PAN Card alone is not accepted as witness ID at the SDM office. Voter ID may be accepted at some offices — confirm in advance.
Witnesses sign the marriage register and the witness declaration form at the SDM office. The process takes approximately 10 minutes. No prior preparation is required from witnesses.
